Hominy Farms LLC

Hominy Farms was established in 1998 to create future "forests" of giant timber bamboo. Kris Redmann and Grace Coppola planted field dug divisions of several timber bamboo species to establish various groves as a source for landscape plants, pole timber and shoot production. We also have beautiful lanscape bamboos for any application. Hominy Farms groves are located near Liberty,MS  on 113 beautiful acres of mixed woods and reclaimed pastureland. Its operations now occupy several properties, including its office located at 6179 Hamp Lea Road , Liberty, Mississippi.

Hominy Farms is fortunate to have one of the nicest Groves of giant "Henon" Bamboo to be found in the United States....a true giant bamboo forest ...covering approximately 2.5 acres. This is a must see on any planned trip near the farm. This Henon grove is producing poles for decoration or construction up to 5.5" in diameter .Poles may be ordered in various lengths depending upon your application.

Hominy Farms may be visited by appointment only. Large landscape plants are dug and stabilized for each individual order . Potted plants in 5 to 25 gallon sizes of various bamboos are available throughout the growing season.Bamboo poles may be ordered in bulk with the necessary arrangements.
